Irfan-Ul-Haq’s all-round performance took RCC Vadi Kashmir into final
Srinagar, 12 April: RCC Vadi Kashmir defeated Habak Xi by 51 runs in the semifinal match of Unity Cup Zakura on Friday.
Earlier after winning the toss RCC decided to bat first, while batting first RCC Vadi Kashmir couldn’t post a big target on the board and were allout on 130 runs in 15 overs. For them Irfan Ul Haq was the highest scorer with 30 while as Waseem Andrabi made 27 runs and Asrar added 19.
For Habak Kaiser took 3 while as Waseem and
Shabir took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Habak team failed to chase the target and were bundled on 79 runs. For them Showkat made 25 and Parveez scored 14 were the top scorers.
RCC bowling was lead by a superb spell by Irfan Ul Haq who broke the top order of the Habaq Xi and took taking 3 crucial wickets. Subail Bazmi and Asrar took 2 wickets each.
Rcc won the match by 51 runs and Irfan Ul Haq for his brilliant allround show was declared Man of the match.
It was the 2nd consecutive MOM award for Irfan-Ul-Haq.
